The '05's have single horns located between the radiator and the grill. The '06's have dual horns located in the engine compartment just behind the intake.

Several have posted with a problem installing the Volant CAI because they have 2 horns mounted in the engine bay as opposed to the O5's that have one mounted be-
tween the radiator and the grill.

Volant is even getting an '06 Frontier to use to correct the problem. Where is your single horn located? What is the build date on yours? Maybe yours is an early model
before the change was made or maybe Nissan decided the '05 set up was better than the '06 and went back to it.

Are there any other '06 owners with single horns? Like they say there is no such thing as never.

The stock horn doesn't pack the auditory punch that I'd like it to so i'm looking at an aftermarket horn and I've found this:

http://www.eautoworks.com/html/search-1-Frontier~Cars~Horn.htm

It is by PIAA and is supposed to be as loud as 120 decibles. Anyone have experience with this kind of thing?
Hey, I actually just finished installing the same horns (400 and 500) on my 2005 frontier cc. Its a great horn and sounds a hell of alot better than the single factory one. I made a bracket out of aluminum and mounted the two horns on that in pretty much the same place...I can take some pictures and post them if youd like.

The connector is not for the horn at least not on the 05. I checked it when i installed my second horn witch by the way was the $10 Pep Boys Horn. I cant remember witch one it was but it was cheap and it did the job. My horn is now considerably louder.

That's a ambient temperature sensor harness. If you had the Crew Cab with the auto dimming mirror and stuff it would have something connected to it I would think. I wish they offered that mirror on the LE King Cab too.
