Thank you... Nothing fancy here just a 2" front lift in the front via a set of top mount spacers from Supreme Lifts and a set of heavy duty adjustable lift shackles from 4x4 Parts - Nissan Auto Parts & Performance Accessories which are now set for full 2" lift... I do have set of Firestone Air Bags to install in the rear sitting in the garage to enhance and augment the towing package...Teecro your truck looks great, what leveling kit is that
I PM'd you @teecro. Let me know if you got my PM as it is not showing up on my side.As best I recall within 1 pound. I weighed the boxed SV wheels in case they needed to be shipped and they were about the same as the boxed Pro-4X wheels...
in case you did not get it @teecro, i am planning to replace my OEM mirrors with tow mirrors. ur tow mirrors interested me. If you do not mind, can you tell me where did you buy your mirrors from? I assume 1A Auto. if 1A auto, does the mirror vibrate horribly at high speeds (70 mph), as some people in their reviews, have claimed it to be? Thanks::grin::I PM'd you @teecro. My purchase was through AM Autoparts, but without question they are the same as sold from 1A Auto...in case you did not get it @teecro, i am planning to replace my OEM mirrors with tow mirrors. ur tow mirrors interested me. Thank you very much for your insight @teecro. I will definitely look into this right now. ::grin::My purchase was through AM Autoparts, but without question they are the same as sold from 1A Auto...
Do they vibrate horribly?
No not horribly, but they do indeed vibrate a little at freeway speeds which I do a lot of. What I notice is that the larger upper mirror has a little bit of a quiver whereas the lower wide angle does not, this I think or at least in my case catches the eye. While slightly distracting it is an annoyance that I can tolerate for the advantage of increased visibility while hauling trailers of which I have 3 with one being a huge pontoon boat. 2ndly with the ability of independently adjusting the upper and lower wide angle mirrors (in/out only) to your liking I've found that a car can no longer hide in the truck's blind spot. Previously I felt forced to do the Messerschmitt Jerk to make sure no one was hiding just aft of the driver's door pillar.
