I drive a 2003 Frontier, Crew Cab, 4 X 4. I am replacing the lower ball joints, but need to know the size of the large nut that screws the ball joint in from the top of the lca. Anybody?

36mm I went to harbor freight and bought the biggest wrench size set they had

Im pretty sure the bottom ball joint isnt really made to be replaced, its pressed in. Instead you need to buy the whole LCA.

There is a special way to do it but I dont know where the tutorial is.

Thanks zeekemon! - 36 mm, like butter. Dr Phat, Napa sells the LCA ball joint for about $50 bucks for the pair.
