The Colorado is supposedly even crappier. The Ranger should be at the bottom of that list. Old, dated technology. I would drive every one of the trucks listed before I would drive the Danger Ranger.
The truck is beyond crap and I think they may have given it too much credit. The two we have in our family the owners hate 'em.The Colorado is supposedly even crappier.
Yeah, pretty much this. While I am glad to see that the Frontier is #1, the Ranger being rated #2 gives me about 0 confidence in the JD Power awards. I just built a Ranger and it was pretty sorry. To each his own, I suppose.
The award is for initial reliability. The awards aren't claiming what the better truck is. The Ranger, as crappy as it is, might just be more reliable out of the box than the Tacoma or others (but not than ours lol). While I am glad to see that the Frontier is #1, the Ranger being rated #2 gives me about 0 confidence in the JD Power awards. Considering they rated the reliability just shy of "better than most", I hope they DO know what they're talking about. That's a very good rating.Looks like the Frontier only won Initial Quality.....meaning they're great for at least 90 days! the Ridgeline won the other two (Performance and Design, and Reliability)......those things are ugly!! But I guess they did something right. I love my 2010 Frontier, and I hope JD Power and Associates don't know what they are talking about!
