Well I looked at my exhaust before and didn't notice any cracks or holes, but this morning I was like "If there was a hole or crack it should get some moisture accumulating and maybe it'd drop down" well parked it up under the carport and started it and gave it some revs and well look at that.

There is a small hole towards the back of the muffler, looks like a rock hit it, and on top of the muffler it looks like it completely separated. Not sure how that would happen unless its something to do with my just hitting a big bump or pressure or I don't know.

I'll post some pictures or update in a second of some pictures of it and see if I should even attempt to get that fixed or a new muffler.

I noticed you had a thread asking about "the best sounding exhaust" too. There are a zillion threads and YouTube vids on exhaust so that may help, but you may want to see if any shops will let you "test listen" some muffler choices. A local shop let me do that and it was really helpful.

That small hole is a built-in drain for releasing condensation...as water is a natural by-product of combustion.

Well I mean this hole looks like I reversed into a giant mound and put a nice hole in it lol.
My money is on you reversing into a giant mound and putting a (nice) hole in it. :)
