Lift kit and warranty

Does anyone know if I put a 2.5" lift on my truck, does it have any effect on warranty from the dealer. I'm hoping not, would like to lift it, and add some other aftermarket stuff, but not if its going to void my warranty.

I had a dealer told me that it'll void my warranty on the suspension and brakes, the rest still covered.
