Does anyone know if I put a 2.5" lift on my truck, does it have any effect on warranty from the dealer. I'm hoping not, would like to lift it, and add some other aftermarket stuff, but not if its going to void my warranty.
I had my fuel level sending unit fixed under warranty and my truck looked the way it did in my sig picture. It all depends on the dealer and what you taking it in there for. If its a problem that came because of the aftermarket part then they may raise a finger. But if not, most will go ahead with the work.
What kind of lift are you looking to do? I have some rancho quicklift struts id love to get rid of. Can come with stock springs and bearing plates ready to bolt right in.
Don't know what I'm gonna put on, just picked up the truck yesterday, and this is my first Frontier. Just started shopping around, got a 4x4 Custom shop right in town. Plus gotta save up some nickels and dimes, just put pipes and air cleaner on my bike.
As stated above it entirely depends on the service manager/dealer. I was rejected at 2 dealers for warranty repair with both places saying my ENTIRE warranty on my less than 6 month old truck was void due to SL and BL. The third dealer I went to made the repair without any hassle.
People may quote the Magnusson-Moss Act, but that's easier said than done. Not worth the time imo. I just moved on to the next dealer.
