Is it just one speaker or all on the left side? If one speaker only and you like to play it loud it could be going bad (as in the coil is damaged). If all on one side go out till you turn up the volume it could be,though unlikely unless you normally crank it way up, the amp itself. Are the speakers OEM? Have you added anything to the system?
