jojo,
I bought the Leer locally, took about 2-weeks due to paint. The local dealer stated this is the first one he had seen with the cut-out for the emblem!

If you look real close that is a 350Z emblem!

Thanks
Major

Good looking tonneau and truck! I believe ARE also now makes their cover with the emblem cutout, at least that's what their local dealer told me.

You had mentioned in another post that you had ordered a dashmat, did it come in yet? If so, how does it look and fit?

The total price was $1,023 installed.

The dash mat I ordered is supposed to be here Monday the 16th. My wife will be very upset when that "UPS" truck pulls up out front! I can just feel the hair on the back of my neck stand up when that big brown rig pulls in front of the house!

Major,

Your truck looks very sharp. If I did not have to load bulky things in my truck on a regular basis I would love to have the Leer look. So how much trouble was it to put the Z emblem on the rear panel?

Is it difficult to remove the stock emblem? Is it a plug and play thing? It is a neat idea
and I am always looking for something new to try on my truck.

After your first post about the Dashmat I decided to do the same thing on my truck.
My wife found out about it so I had to order one for her Solara. I am hoping that
I get them both this week.

I ordered the carpet version in beige for my truck since it has the desert cloth interior
and the carpet version in taupe for my wife's Solara.

Thank you for your good ideas that I keep taking advantage of. I hope you don't mind
a copy cat.

OkieScot,
Thanks for the compliments!

The Nissan Emblem comes off very easy, warm it up with a hair dryer and use an old credit card or ATM card to slide behind the emblem and it comes right off. Clean off the sticky stuff then clean with soap & water, wipe off with alchohol and place on a new emblem. The Nissan emblem uses the 3M sticky stuff and any emblem that uses the 3M sticky stuff will work. Also you should be aware that there are 2 holes (alignment) in the tailgate right behind the Nissan emblem.

Thanks
Major

Major,

Thank you for the information. Can you tell me what the part number and price are
for the Z emblem? Does the Z emblem have the locating pins on it as well?

Thank you again for your help. This is a nice touch that I can see on my truck.
I have had two Z's in the past and really enjoyed them both.
