Hello. Was wondering if anyone has tried any of the aftermarket LED tail lights, or can recommend one from a good company. I have upgraded all the rear lighting with LED bulbs, and they have all lasted except the tail\brake light. I have ordered ones from companies that were recommended on this sight, one set was super expensive but worked amazing for about two months. Tried another company and the base is to short to reach to make an electrical contact in the housing itself. So instead of spending more and more money on the bulbs I am now just going to replace the rear housing with one that is made already with LEDs. When I had a Dodge Ram I ordered a pair from go recon and they were amazing, however I am having a hard time finding ones for a 15 Frontier. Any help or suggestions? Thank you all for your time and insight.

I have used this style on all 3 of my Frontiers, the first two sets I bought from Revotec on e-bay for a bit more money but found these earlier this year on amazon.

using them on my 17' Pro4 and they work as well as the others.

I have these flea bay specials on my 13 and they work great. https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-2005-2017-Nissan-Frontier-Red-Smoke-LED-Rear-Brake-Tail-Lights-Lamps-Pair/400660267434?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Seller is from Cali so most likely Chinese. I had Chinese LED Tail lights on my Titan and they were great as well. I know a lot of folks knock the stuff from China, but me, I'm personally a fan. Been using Chinese double DIN head units with GPS in all of my vehicles for about 11 years and have all been trouble free. A lot of "Name Brand" products are made in China and sold for about 4 times the cost as the same basic product direct from China (often from a flea bay seller).

it's been hit or miss with the cheap chinese ones for me. some do well and last a long time and others die quickly and some are DOA.
philips and Sylvania are now making automotive LEDs in a lot of the popular sizes. I plan to install these.
only $15 shipped on ebay

good point, i would like to support DD one day. i might go for them instead when the time comes...what is their warranty? I can't seem to find specific warranty details on the DD site. And are they DOT approved? they say they have DOT testing so i assume they are... ? The sylvanias are "OFF ROAD USE ONLY", but I did just notice that all of the Philips bulbs are DOT approved / 100% street legal, so that's kind of nice if you care about that. might go with those instead.

I only have interior LED's from D.D. and I did like the fact that they list lumen output.

Most of the Sylvania LED's you get at the parts store are less than impressive as far as light output goes....

I installed a set of these a couple of months ago. Yes the link is still good. I am happy with the units so far. NOTE: only the tail and brake lights are LED, turn signals and backup are halogen. Strange I know but eliminates having to use a resistor to solve the turn signal flashing problem. I did replace my backup lights with LED bulbs and am happy. Doubt if I will mess with the turn signals at this point. So everything on my truck has been converted to LED with the exception of the turn signals and head lights...

I did replace both the turn signal and back up bulbs with LED (used resistors on the TS bulbs). I also replaced my head light bulbs with LED's from Auxbeam. So every thing has been converted to LED except for the front turn signals.

Where did you mount the resisters for the rear turn signals?
