I have a 2010. To my knowledge there is no blown bulb indicator. You will, however, notice a quick flash on your turn signals if you put led bulbs in those locations.LED bulbs are actually diodes. thus, unlike regular bulbs, electrical current will ONLY flow in one direction thru a diode. Thats why if an LED bulb first does not work it sometimes works by turning it 180* or essentially swapping the polarity of the power source.
Then in todays cars the computer senses there is not as much power being pulled by the LED bulbs on the circuit, so there may be a blown light indicator on the dash.
My question is for you guys that have converted your trucks to LED, what trouble have you had to deal with to make the truck burn LED bulbs without the computer throwing "blown bulb" dash light indicators....
I have not had a blown bulb yet on my 2006 so I am now wondering even if the frontier has a "blown bulb" dash light indicator....I have'nt even thought about it til I read this thread.
Pull the bulb out and throw on the blinker. It will react the same way.LED bulbs are actually diodes. thus, unlike regular bulbs, electrical current will ONLY flow in one direction thru a diode.
