hello, i am new here and have a question about my new truck. i have a 2010 frontier se 4x4 cc. it has 4,000mi. i hear a knocking or clumping noise from the rear or middle of the truck when slowing to a stop. it is a fast pace knock but gets slower as the truck slows. it sounds like a u joint to me. this is my first nissan so im wondering if this is normal. does anyone here have the same problem? any ideas on what this mite be would be a big help. thanks

Welcome to the club. You may or may not have noticed that there is a "Search" button on the top right of the screen. It may be beneficial to use it to search before starting a topic on it. Plus, this is an "intro" thread so people can say hey if they want to.

Your question should be located in the "general" forum since it is someting general about the truck.

Also, what you have described sounds semi-normal. It could be a u-joint or just play in the rear/trans. Give it some time and when you take it to the dealer, tell them about it and if they say "can not duplicate" take them for a test drive and show them.
