King Cab fit Crew Cab?

I didn't think they made crew cabs in 1998. I thought they started in 2000. I also thought the crew cab bed was shorter than the king cab. I don't know about the long bed version of the crew cab, but I thought those started when they changed the front end in 2001.

I thought there were 2 different sizes of beds in 98. 74" and 76" or 77". I remember websites asking what size bed when I was looking for my tonneau cover.
