Hello. I have a 98 Crew Cab XE 4x4 that has a rusty bed. Local mechanic said that the bed was to far gone to fix, and suggested looking for a new bed for it. I found a 98 bed of a King Cab. I know it's shorter, but could it work? Thanks for the help.

I didn't think they made crew cabs in 1998. I thought they started in 2000. I also thought the crew cab bed was shorter than the king cab. I don't know about the long bed version of the crew cab, but I thought those started when they changed the front end in 2001.

Ok. Here what you're saying...I copied the link.

This listing is for the box/bed from a 1998 Nissan Frontier king cab pickup truck. This is from a California truck, so there's no rust anywhere. It also has a black spry in bed liner. It fits: NISSAN PICKUP 98-00 King Cab, 4x2. It is tested, working perfect, & in good condition. Shipping is on a pallet via truck. It's large, & somewhat heavy, so send zip for a shipping quote before clicking buy it now. I will ship items together & I will combine shipping, whenever possible. It will be shipped out quickly, & I will provide you with the tracking number. If you want to come by & inspect it, you are welcome to do so. Local pickup is welcome, but no Paypal for local pick ups. Please let me know if you have any questions. Shipping to the continental USA only. No shipping to the USA territories. No international shipping. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases, when possible, if they are invoiced together, & paid for at the same time. Insurance will not be added unless requested, which will be at your expense. I will include what Hollander Interchange, or other sources say this is going to fit, when possible. This is not a guarantee that it will fit your car, so please double check for yourself before purchasing. It is ultimately your responsibility to make sure this will fit your car. Thanks for looking!

And here's my truck. Do you think it could work?
you have a regular cab, and yes that bed will work, all the mounts are in the same spot

on the king cabs, reg cabs and crew cab long beds, they all used the same bed, just stretched the frame to fit the longer or shorter cab
