I haven't seen a Nissan Axxess in at least 15 years! Anyway, to answer your question: "no." The black casting is different at the back of the block. The head is different; on the Axxess, it mounts at the back of the cylinder head and on the truck, it mounts into the timing cover. Obviously, front timing cover is different as well as the oil pickup.

I guess it makes no sense to pull the motor.
Only 100,000mi on it. Strong, smooth running. Not smoking. No noise from chain.
Bought in 1991 new. Never had any problems with it at all.
Body is rusted. Leaks more inside than out when raining.
Going to miss the old girl.
