Did most of you guys drill a hole in the glove box to run the ipod end in there? Or is there a way to slip it in?

Also, I guess I'll zip tie the adaptor behind the deck on the plastic brace found there unless there is a better way??

theres a space inbetween where you can run the USB cable thru to the glovebox when its open. you h ave to have your front faceplate and all torn apart as you know.

ohh u first or second gen?

the 2nd gens may be different but you will see the space im talking about once you get it all torn apart if there IS a space

no need to drill a hole. like Oregon said, there is a big gap behind the faceplate.

If you look up directions to change your cabin filter (here) you'll see it's quite easy to tilt the glove box right out. I also agree that there is plenty of room to snake the wire in (over the left side , top edge of the glove box) without drilling.
