Hello, I'm new to Nissan. I have a 2017 frontier 4x4 that has an airbag light flashing. I read the forums and they were a great help to get the truck in to diagnostic mode. The problem is, I don't understand the flashes. In diagnostic mode it has a long flash followed by a pause, four short flashes, another pause, two short flashes, a pause, then it starts over again. I think the four flashes are for the right crash zone sensor but I'm not sure if the other two flashes are another code for the drivers airbag module or not. Sorry for posting the question here but I can't post in the other forums yet and am worried about it, lol.

Any help with the codes would be greatly appreciate and sorry again for posting in the wrong section.

I had the airbag sensor under the passenger seat fail on my 2015 and it was replaced under warranty. After your truck dries out, take it back to the dealer and maybe you can get it replaced. Obviously DO NOT mention that you attempted to drown your truck.....

Remember to walk deep water before crossing it!

Good Luck!

I don't know what those flashes are sorry know older Frontiers like mine I have 10' had a recall for the front due to road salt in the east like suggested I'd clean it up play dumb about dunking it you might luck out.
If somethings said say you went through a car wash or did self serve then it was on or even you unhooked the battery to clean the posts and put protectors on em or something and light was on afterwards. good luck

Thanks for all the input. The truck is dry now so maybe I'll take it to the dealership next week. It'

Thanks as well for the advice of walking water before crossings, I learned that a long time ago on my atv lol. This wasn't an off road thing though, I had a large blue container full of water in the back and the lid wasn't on tight. I didn't even know until I went to pick up ten container after work and it felt empty lol. I'm not planning on ever off-roading with the truck, it's my work truck and I can't afford any downtime lol
