On Wednesday, so stoked, but hoping I didn't make a mistake or anything. I did all the research I could, but things like this always make me nervous. I'm hoping the ride will be similar to factory, and won't top out as eagerly as my split spacer lift does (I hate that.) Hopefully this isn't in violation of the rules, just really excited and eager to modify this new money pit of mine. LOL

Edit: also, what are the spring rates? I forgot where I found them, truck is stock now, but I plan on slid plates and a pre-runner bumper in the future.

Got all the parts in, attempted to install the coilovers, to do the UCAs later.

Seemed like an easy job...nope, not for me. Have a sway bar link that needs to be cut off, the hole on the bottom of the coilover won't line up to get the bolt in, balljoint is spinning when I try to remove the nut to hopefully get enough down travel to bolt the coilover on. Before I lose my temper, I'm just going to find a mechanic to finish the job...Dunno what else to do.

Also, for the ball joint use a clamp of sorts to hole the balljoint into the hole in the spindle then remove the nut. Its a morse fit so the more pressure you apply the more it will resist spinning. You should also have the the upper ball joint disconnected when installing the coilover, otherwise you'll have a hell of time getting that lower bolt in. For the endlink, spray it with PB Blaster for a few days and then use heat to get the nuts the break free. Just make sure most if not all the PB is evaporated before you hit it with the torch.

I had to regroup, going to try a C-clamp to hold the stud and get the nut off all the way, than put the new UCAs on. All that after work. I'm going to try using a stripped bolt remover, before cutting the nut off the damaged end link, and going to take the sway bar off till I have replacement links. Hopefully I'll be able to get it all done early enough tomorrow to get it adjusted and aligned. They're set at 2.5" of lift, I wanna drop them to 1.75/2" lol.

The tutorial thread is great, but I wish it would have gone into detail about all that. Knowledge for next time, I guess.
