Went out today to wash my truck and when I started spraying my windshield down with water, the windshield cracked! There were two cracks one started from the bottom and went up and the other crack started at the top and went down but they didn't join. The only thing I can think of is the water was cold and my windshield was hot?!?!?! I've never had that happen though.

I know in Fl your car insurance will replace your windshield for free if its cracked, might want to look into that in Ga.

Shitty deal dude, musta been the combination of really cold water and a hot windshield

can't overstress the importance of preventative maintenance on any chips or cracks in a windshield, it's not all that much to get some resin professionally applied but it's definitly cheaper than paying fe a new windshield alltogether

Yeah, I already called and insurance won't cover it. As far as a picture, well now both cracks became one....funny how that didn't take long.
