Not sure if it is a desert runner. The vin # for the insurance says it is.
But no decals on the truck. Just white with black rubber fender trims.
I am installing a Bargman 7plug trailer connector plug on the back bumber, for towing a 5' x 10' single axle utility trailer with electric brakes.
I think I have now figured out how to install the electric brake controller. One of the wires, the red one, connects to the brake light wire. I can't find one under the dash,, so I will run one from the back brake light wire, right rear, and bring it up into the cab wtih the other wires and connect to it. This will give the brake controller the "pulse" necessary for setting the sensitivity level with.
I haven't owned a Nissan truck since 1967 when I had a little yellow Datsun 1/4 ton.
thanks,,,,mc
