I just changed my serp belt becuase my truck with 98k miles on it was making the sounds like the belt needed to be replaced. So i changed it and its still making the noise. Its only when I'm moving and for the most part only when I'm hitting the gas. Its sounds more like a squeak like bushings, but if i move the truck around it wont make any sounds only when I'm driving. Any suggestions.

Look at the pulley on the tensioner and see where the belt rides on the pulley. If it rides more towards the engine on the pulley then you have the old style tensioner. If the belt rides to the outside edge of the pulley then you have the updated tensioner. If that's not it then check belt alignment and if needed adjust by loosening the P/S pump to correct belt alignment .

Ok I'll look at the tensior, that was my second guess. But how do i know if thats it for sure. And how do adjust the belt alignment on the p/s? I've never had to do that before. Thanks for your help guys.
