I'm asking because I replaced my old fuel cap and I'm still getting a P0455 code.

smj999smj has a good point on the fuel cap. I think the reason so many good ones get replaced is because it's easy to do. Just for information my generation 2 truck has no hole, tether is fastened to the door.
