has anyone ever asked you that before?

i just found out our trucks are so much faster than silverado 1500's lol.

a kid in a single cab chevy 1500 v8 kept doing the lil grunt thing next to me trying to get me to hit it, we were going at about 50-55 "a hot spot in our trucks lol" so i hit it for a few seconds and pulled hard on him. then we come up to a light, and says the famous IS THAT A V6?... "yes sir" then he shook his head in shame and said that mother fker is mean! so with no traffic or cops around we went for it from a dig, for about the first 10 ft we were even, then i left him so badly it was histarical! by the time i hit 50 and let off he was about 3 lengths or more back there lol. i always thought those trucks would give me a run for my money but no chance lol. i would say our trucks are atleast 1 maybe 2 seconds faster in the 1/4 than them.

before i get yelled at for street racing, we were on a 55mph highway, and i didnt get over 65 at any point, and there was no traffic around us.

Raced a 1500 2010 from 0 to 100 and stayed RIGHT next to her, had 5 people in my truck and just one girl in the 4 door short bed chev. CRAZY.

Me and this guy I know went out on a backroad to see how my truck would do against his 04 Mustang GT vert (auto).....so we did 2 runs, from a dig and from 45....from a dig he spun like crazy and I barked tires then took off leaving about a half car length between us until 90 then he started inching his way up to my door. Now from 45 we were side by side until 90 when we let off.

Diablo Predator on the highest tune

Magnaflow "custom" catback...

I'm confident I'd eat him alive now with WOT restrictor off, tune, and intake.

hate to tell you this but either he couldnt drive or your full of it. as much as i hate fo*d's the GT is more than a full second faster in the 1/4 mile than a frontier, both in stock form(test truck was a KC and you have a CC so your truck is slower than that stock). him having an intake, exhaust, and a tune im sure he in is the mid 13's or even a little lower. there is NO WAY your truck would be a stock GT with someone that is competent behind the wheel.

Yup. Raced a 02-04 GT with 22"s on it (assuming it wasn't modded) from 65-1xx and we were neck to neck. And I HAVE mods.

Can also add the F-150 to the list as well. Also once was a guy jacking around light to light with his hemi too, but when I pulled up to him at the next light, he took off like a grandma. Guess he had a run in with a Nissan before. lol

again, dodge ram hemi still a full second faster than the frontier stock to stock. as for the fo*d, 4.9l you stand a pretty good chance of beating it. the 5.4, its going to come down to the driver. stock to stock the 5.4L f150 is pulling mid 15's and the frontier is pulling just about the same, mid to high 15's stock.

It was an auto which I stated, so all we both did was punch it. I haven't raced another GT to see how I'd fair. But I'm stating what the outcome of it was me winning both times. But he was pulling slightly on me both times once we got close to 90. I've drove a GT and it really didn't impress me. I don't call BS on someone unless I was there simply because there are several factors that could mean a faster car could lose to another that on paper says it's slower. Now my friend has a Camaro SS that I'd never try against. It's pretty mean, SLP hood, exhaust, etc....it sounds like death coming down the road (I mean that in a good way).

P.S. I've never raced my friend that's got a dodge with a Hemi in it...but we shall see what happens eventually when we do run them.

Given the fact that the 1994 Mustang GT only had 215HP, I would say it's possible that a Frontier could beat a 16 year old Mustang.

As for beating the Silverado. There are 4 different possible engines for the Silverado. I doubt it was the 403HP 6.2l that you beat.

Man. I don't care what anybody believes or not. Our trucks are wicked quick, and there is no vehicle out there that I wouldn't race(except purpose built sports cars), that I don't feel I have a VERY good chance of beating or atleast making them wonder what the fu(k is in my truck. And even then, I like to boot it agaisnt full out "sports cars" just cause I know it will take something pretty serious to totaly embarass me in a race. Love the power these V6's make. Always makes me smile. And even though numbers may say otherwise, 98% of trucks made are not as fast as ours. All makes are covered in my group of friends from new to old, and I have never hesitated for a second to call them out in a race.

i love drivin around with my buddy in his honda, he's got a type r swapped 94 hatch and i can stay very close till 80+ then aerodynamics and weight kills me, but he gets a quiet lol. there's a few kids rollin around with hemi dodges but i can't ever meet up with one when their not on busy roads going the oposite direction lol.
