Hello Frontier fans!
I drive a 2006 Nissan Murano, but I am trying to help a good friend with an 2006 Frontier. I figured I would go straight to fellow enthusiasts with my problem.
I recently installed the iSimple Gateway - which is the same as the Pac Audio uPAC-NIS1 - in my Murano. The black box plugs the iPod into one side, and the other into the sat interface on the head unit. Very similar to the factory interface from Nissan. However, this one cost a total of $130 as opposed to $200 plus for the factory interface and harness.
My friend wants to do the same to his Frontier. My friends Frontier has the factory head unity, sat ready, with the 6 disc changer.
Other than the factory solution, what other options are there? According to Peripheral/iSimple/Pac-Audio, they have compatible devices starting with the 2007 Frontier.
Any help, guidance, or tips are greatly appreciated!
Brian
