Sounds like you have a short circuit somewhere.
Interior light comes on while turning???
Weird but true. My 2002 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab interior light will come on when I make a quick sharp turn the right. It wont do it every time but will do it alot. Has anybody seen this before.

is it in the "on, off, or door" position?
first thought that pops into my head is a bad ground, combined with it being in the "on" position. i speculate that the problem is in the light fixture its self. pop the cover off and see what you find.

driver side door sensor. either your door is no longer latching all the way, therefore triggering your sensor to think the door is ajar on right turns, or the sensor itself is loose and triggering on right turns for the same reason.
when i say sensor i mean the plunger that triggers the light...

Exactly what I was going to suggest before Harsh posted.
Those switches are known for failing apart inside the rubber cover/boot.

it was the first thing i thought of cuz i had one fail on my old S10. easy and cheap fix if thats what it ends up being. i got a near-identical replacement for cheap at pepboys.
