Are all the cabin filters about the same? I found some on ebay for a great price and was unsure if their was differant qualities? Also how many does our trucks hold? I'm aware of the one behind the glove box.
It's 2, side by side..They fit real tight too..Watch the snap, the dealer busted mine the first time the filters were changed..I now change them out, I bought mine on ebay, TYC brand, I bought a multi-pack (12) for a little less than $100..Dealer price is something like $30/$35 a set..and that's just the filters..another $35 to install..
I found Fram now makes the Fram Fresh Breeze cabin air filter for the 2nd generation Frontier. Fram :: Products : Air Filters
I am going to give this product a try, and see if it gets rid of that funky air conditioning smell. Fram Part Number CF10553
Thanks, for the info. Mine should be coming in soon. They were pretty cheap on ebay but I guess as long as they fit that's all the matters. If not I'll be trying some the other ones that were suggested. How long does it take to change them out?
Not to long..you have drop your lower glove box..the filters are behind it..you have to squeeze the sides of the glove box..and becareful with the filter cover..good luck..
