I installed them in my brake/reverse lights in my 2010 a few months after i got it. It's not too hard at all just make sure when you install the bulbs you drill as close to the factory bulb but leave yourself enough room so they don't touch. I ran the cables along the factory harness and went into the cab through the back and put the power pack under the drivers seat. I'll take some pictures for you today

That would be incredible....any pictures would be awsome. I have an '09 Crew cab Long bed as well so I def could use as much help as possible.. Any fogging in your tails or did you seal it real well?

No fogging, I made sure to use silicone along with a hole saw that was the right size. It was a pain to get them in because it was a bit tight. just take your time doing it. I drilled the strobes in on the inner side of the light housing (the flat side). sorry about the pics, i haven't had time to take the tail light off and snap some pics yet. I'll get them though!

no problem on the pics...I think i'm going to do it This coming week. When you say the inner side your talking about "hole" facing tailgate or Outerfender wall? Just curious.

Might I recomend instead of strobes try new LED hide aways, like the Whelen Vertex.

I've been installing hide aways and other emergency lights in cars and trucks for a while now, and the LED hide aways are about 10x better than regular strobes. Easier to install, no power packs, just 2 wires. They are brighter, and come in an array of colors.

Thats one nice thing about the LED hide aways. They are only about 60 bucks a bulb, and the bulb is all you need, no need for a power pack, specialzed wiring, and the bulbs. A complete set of 4 Hide Aways will only run ya about $140.

If you have any other install questions though feel free to ask! I'm always happy to help

I was about to go the strobe route myself, but these LEDs look perfect! You've done these in a Frontier? Inside which housings? What kind of wiring & control setup have you used?

Thanks!

Have not done them in my truck...yet, but I did put them in my buddie's Fronty.

SIRENNET.COM - Whelen Vertex Super-LED Hide-A-Way Light

SIRENNET.COM - Whelen Split Vertex Super-LED Hide-A-Way Light

Check em out, they even offer them in a split LED now. The mounting hole only needs to be an inch for the LED's. Not too much bigger than a regular strobe. I was prob gonna mount mine in the rear reverse light, and the front turn signals.

As far as wiring...its only 4 wires! Power and ground, fuse and switch the power, and just ground the ground lol. The other 2 wires are to sync the lights and change the flash pattern.

Heres those pics i owe you from the my install... I like the LED hideaways too. there bright but put a different type of light output out, there more concentrated. I went with strobes because i bought them a few years back for a really good price... I'm thinking down the road i will replace my strobes in the reverse light with the blue/white leds and leave the red strobes in.

the headlights are pretty easy...i poked a hole in the drivers side rubber grommet and ran the cables through there for my switches and ran the wires along the drivers side frame for the reverse lights strobes

Run the wires up along the passenger side frame rail. Right under the front passenger seat there is a hole right above the frame rail. Just poke a small hole in it and the wires come right up under the carpet, lift up the little flap in the carpet and you'll see em poking though
