Got my 520XL CB installed inside the console, tapped into the 12v ACC wires under the console. Still waiting on my wilson magnet mount antenna to arrive, until then, I installed my 60 Watt loudspeaker horn and plugged it into the CB, ran the wires through the main wire harness grommet in the firewall and put the speaker behind the grill...

Just got back from driving around testing it out, damn! That little 5" loudspeaker, IS LOUD! Scared a few people I know at the local maverick parking lot and barked at a few dogs, jeesh... I know it's illegal, but PA speaker systems are just fun!

what kind of pa horn did you buy because the one i have sux and isnt very loud so i need some help on getting a new one.

Awesome man, they are a lot of fun, just be careful lol. I used to have a 100watt siren/PA in my truck and had waayyyyy too much fun with it hahaha.

Haven't put a mount anywhere yet for the handset/mic, just kind of sits in the change holder next to the shift selector, stays there, it's been a good spot for it and look pretty cool. The speakers are I think 45 RMS a piece, I just wired them in parallel and cranked the CB output volume and they're pretty dam* crisp and loud! Had em installed for a few months and it's just about been the best mod I've done to my vehicles so far Definite requirement mod of all next daily drivers in my life. Shouted at a few cops around our small community and i've not been yelled at yet, just been laughed at I've got a little bit of a lecture here and there, I'm careful with what I say and who I'm saying what to lmao... sometimes a few things slip that shouldn't, it's just a hella good time.
