Here is the deal, $200 to your door! I'm shipping on Friday! No sooner, no latter! This is a gasket eating IMS but I have an unused paper gasket too!

Now call dibs and what not but, if you can provide proof that you will make them you get it. To much talk about wanting to copy them here is your chance, just provide proof.

Pm me or post here, I take money orders, paypal or beer!

Works for me, let me know how you would like to send payment? I would prefer a truck bed full of beer!

I am confused by your post. Are you selling the item? Or selling it to someone who can make them? huh?

Looks good. I was thinking about getting a copy of SolidWorks from a friend of mine (I use to be in engineering), but will gladly let others design and build for the MANY of us who will bite. P.S. Composite please.

Yeah, I'm in Civil Engineering (currently laid off) but I do have AutoCAD Inventor 2010 and a few other Autodesk products. May get a hold of a buddy I used to work with that was doing machining. Not sure if the composite thing would be harder to achieve as far as molds etc. than the 6061 aluminum machined like the originals.

Composite is pretty useless since the manifold is already plastic so what are you actually insulating it against?

Also, please use ProE or Solidworks or etc.... a real CAD software, lol.

Promise of homebrew to come? Or I can work on get some you some lagunitas, but you will have to go to Petaluma to pick it up. Cause I don't know any one that would take it to the No-no for me, or pay pal..
Sending you a PM,

As for solidworks vs cad! Depends on the G-Code...

Yeah, it doesn't matter what you draw it with, as long as you draw it accurately and to the correct dimensions.

Lol! I'm glad I can say mine is of the 'correct dimensions'.

Now what some of you solidworks people need to do... Is get me a damn cad file of an adapter so I can adapt the 350z lower plenum to my vq40 heads.

Send me a part, I'll model it in ProE and send the part back. For real.
I can export the solid model in numerous file formats also.

You'd need measurements from the vq40 heads+block. It's probably easier to port the 40's lower plenum than to have to use the Z's. Then you'd need to run Z fuel rails, ect. Bleh

Can anyone measure the large intake holes in the IMS for me? Also the mounting holes. Those of you who have one in their hands. I don't have mine out currently and judging from the gasket I outlined I made as an extra when I had the IMS out, the holes are not the same size. I know I wouldn't have traced it that screwed up. Wonder if its another f'up from WRP. PM me if you can get the data. (see pic)

I don't have my IMS out but I kept my old gasket incase I needed to make another sometime. How accurate of measurements do you need? I just looked at it and discovered something kinda weird possibly related to your issue. The ports are different sizes, 2 sizes actually. From the front(I think) the 1st, 3rd, & 5th port is roughly 2 1/16" long. The 2nd, 4th, & 6th ports are bigger at roughly 2 3/16" long. Never noticed it before. I'm guessing they did this maybe for the slight difference in travel distance on the runners from side to side, but don't really know. Or maybe it was a screwup?

Eaxactly! If I was that bad of a tracer (see pic ^^^) then they wouldn't be consistantly off. The three on one side on mine are 2.03" and the other three are 2.13". I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be that way. I thought "its a 6 cylinder, shouldn't they all be the same?..." And I'm wondering if it affects the way the truck is running if 3 are one size and 3 are the other.

Strange isn't it. Next time I have my intake off I'm going to measure everything-IMS, upper plenum, and lower intake to see if this is true everywhere.

Makes me want to check mine too, but I really hate having it open. Maybe if I get bored tomorrow.

whats different about them. I used 350z head gaskets, cams and springs for a 350z. There heads look identical
