If Nissan had a full line of trucks

They might be able to capitalize on Toyota problems. That's what GM & Ford
seems to be trying right now. Offering cash to Toyota owners to switch brands. Big mistake for Nissan, not making a reg cab truck and high pricing
on Frontier, Pathfinder and Armanda.

what "high pricing"? and just for the record, reg cab trucks mostly sell as fleet vehicles to commercial companies, usually construction. i hardly ever see anyone driving a newer truck that is privately owned that is regular cab. they are out there, just not a lot. nissan is trying to simplify their lineup to save money during building, nothing wrong with that

what the hell is wrong with you..
haha took my words right out of my mouth...:nana:
why would you even want a truck where you can't recline the driver's seat, or carry anything in the cab?
that is fugly. I would never buy one. if you want a bigger bed just get the long bed version of a second gen.
There is no long bed version of the 2nd gen, here! Am I missing something? Our KC bed is as big as it gets
the Crew cab long bed just has the king cab bed on it.
The one thing that my neighbor pointed out is that Nissan does not really have a good 3/4 - 1 ton type towing vehicle like the F-350 or Chevy 3500 style. He has a 38' fifth wheel and said that he would get rid of the GMC if he had another option.

I agree, 3/4 and 1 ton Heavy Duty is one thing none of the import truck have. Not sure if that's a market they'd ever want to break into.
Well I think we can all agree it would be awesome if Nissans started to hold there value better since Toyota's reputation is going down the drain. I still think the Taco is a joke compared to the Frontier but the Tacos seem to hold their value far better.

Currently, yes.
We'll see what the future holds after all of Toyota's problems lately.
Glad I dumped my Tundra for a Frontier this month!

What?!?!?!? I was thinking about doing the oposite. I was looking at getting the Tundra with the HUGE cab on it. The back door are bigger then the front ! Thats whats up!

I am thinking that alot of people are feeling that way right now!
the 1/2 ton market is brand loyal big time, the titan really hasnt kept up with the other options, see the dodge and toyota super cabs. they do offer a work based titan long bed and a KC. the frontier there just isnt a market for it really because nissan will never compete price point on the ranger, 9 times out of 10 thats the small pick up fleet truck I see.
Sorry boys, but Toyota isn't going away. They'll overcome this and probably come back bigger and stronger.

Probably you are right but they have a huge mountain to climb right now, recovery will take time, especially when you read crap like this:

with the combination of frames rusting through and the end of a high performance car i lost all interest in toyota. and see all this recent stuff makes me so glad that i did lose interest. and say what you want about the looks of the exterior and interior of the taco (some people love it, i personally don't) but when you look at what really matters in a truck and the needs of the average working man the toyota doesn't even come close. its exactly what the name says, its a overpriced TOY. they are far from what they used to be

not to mention that the us toyota dealerships alone are estimated as losing 2.5 billion dollars a month with the current situation and things are coming to a halt in other countries too, i'd say they are losing quite a bit of money. its going to be hard to bring up quality without going under when your losing that kind of money.

Isn't that what we used to say about GM in the 70s?
