Good Morning,

I have a 2005 Frontier, 4x4, SE - 108800 Miles..

Lately I have been having an issue at start up and now has moved into problems on the road.

When I start the truck it turns over fine, then dies...after I get it running, all the vitals are fine and it runs great. Today died during driving, reving and shaking the truck (not dramatically but I could feel it) It tries to stay running. Not sure if its a fuel, throttle, sensor issue. The last couple of days I have smelled fuel when I start the truck.

Took it to Autozone to pull codes, but since there was no SES light nothing registered. I did pour some fuel cleaner in the gas tank on Saturday.

Your help is appreciated.

Just remembered! I tried to jump somebody the other day, and he did something and there was a spark at my battery...could that be related?

Also, it idled for about 5 minutes then just died on me...

Could have been, yes.

Pop the fuse box under your hood and in cabin and look to see if any fuses are almost blown, blown, or damaged. It sounds like the jumper cables were put on in series and you could have damaged any number of electronics, etc.
