OK, a little back story 1st..
I used to drive a Dodge Ram I loved but I had to trade it in on a smaller vehicle due to the fact I take care of my mother and she couldn't get into the Dodge. Because I live in the woods and have a small farm, I still need it to be a truck so I could get feed and hay and stuff like that.
So I purchased a 2015 Nissan frontier 4cyl.
Mom problem solved and I can always get another full size later, gotta do what I gotta do now for her.
I'm 6'3" 320lbs and I feel like I'm putting this thing on like a vest when I get in.
I don't want to put a lot into it because I'll be trading it in when the enviable happens...but is there any way I can get it a few inches higher inexpensively?
Clearance is a bit of a problem in the pasture and getting in is what I imagine getting into a Miata feels like.
Thank you for any help.
p.s. I've been lurking since I bought it, just haven't posted...I don't think..

Something like this would be your best bet for affordability: NIS-25-F-Nisstec 2" Lift Kit ('05+ Frontier) I'd go with the camber bolts for sure with a top mount spacer plus the rear 1" block for a leveled look. You may want more rear height not sure

While It won't help much you may want to look into a body lift and slightly larger tires. That would assist in the ground clearance. At least these trucks have some flotation capabilities due to being light, at least compared to the F450 bricks I'd have to use going back.

Being a 4 cylinder do you have an S with the 15in rims? Specifically, are they the P235/75 R15s? If so you could easily upgrade tires to a P265/75 R15, or try and find 16in wheels (SV's can be found almost anywhere) and the larger tires without any additional modifications. That would immediately help reduce the possibility of getting stuck as you'd be floating over most of it.

I just put a set of these Cooper Discoverer A/T All-Season 235/75R15 105T Tire on it last week. LoL!!
That's why this was on my mind. Do you have any idea how much that body lift would run?

Well I lied. (Inflation caused prices to go up) Depends on your truck but for a 2in lift it starts at $150. Max is $220

It won't solve all issues, but it'll allow for more room underneath and an easier time at recovery if it ever bottomed out.

A body lift alone will not improve ground clearance. It just lifts the body off the frame. All the low hanging bits will still be the same place they were before.
Agreed, though it will help prevent the body from digging into the mud like a shovel if/when it ever bottoms out, and it will help you see underneath if it were to bottom out.

Doesn't that require the Upper control arms though? I remember reading that anything, and I mean anything over 2in causes the upper control arm to contact the shock bucket.
I would have to research more, I really don't know much about lifting vehicles. There isn't much info on the site about it so it's very possible. Good looking out, I don't want to steer anyone wrong.
