to write this up so I would have something to go on. I purchased the General AT's for dirt cheap locally (since my son works for a local shop) and wanted to get some miles on them before posting. They are great thus far. I have been in rain, had to stomp on the brakes due to stupid people twice, driven at 45 mph and at highway speeds. The only negatives so far is a very little hum at 40-45 mph and some mushiness in curves. They are very good in the wet and seem to handle really well. They fill up the wheel wells better than other tires I have seen at the standard size that comes on the vehicle and since the price is well below that of most tires, a fantastic deal.

Update on the Generals. I had noticed a significant drop in gas mileage over two tanks of gas since getting the tires and found they were only set on 32 psi. I pumped them to 36 psi and they feel much better. No more mushiness in curves, I can "feel" the road now and the milieage is back up where is was before the new tires. They are calibrated for 44 psi but in the Florida heat, I don't like to run max pressure. I am nothing but pleased with the tires and the price is right. They handle very well in dry and rain. I have been trying to get to the boat ramps but "things" keep getting in the way. This weekend looks good though.
