Well I had to have some work done,,, and I am not happy.

$1500.oo later, and I have a check engine light on, and feel that she is idling rough,,, never had to use the gas pedal before when I turned her over , she would just fire up and warm up.

1 new upper radiator hose
1new lower rad hose
1 new lower hose pipe to t-stat
1 new engine coolant flush
I new value cover gasket
1 new upper intake manifold gasket
6 new spark plugs
1 new belt alt
1 new belt fan
1 news belt ac

Alot of aamco horror stories. The spark plug/ intake mani is the only thing that should effect idle. What plugs did they use. They probably "bumped" something.

Re Plugs used, I can not tell, is it not listed on receipt, and I don't have a spark plug wrench right now, stupid me.

I am getting ready to move to nice place, and I don't want to have the continuous drip drip of the old leaking value covers that have been diagnosed for years now that I blew off cause I was parking on dirt and other places I didn't care.... its is not appreciable amount,,,, but now its a nuisance to the new place of residence, plus I wanted to take more pride in my ride,, and with 160K she runs like a top.
