Husky floor liners

I received some Husky Floor Liners for the front seats today and I just wanted to mention that they are currently on sale at Cabelas (no I don't work for them!). They say 1-2 weeks for delivery from the factory, but mine arrived in 5 days. Quality is really nice and fit is perfect. The sides are high and the front and back extend up behind the pedals and under the seat. They even have notches underneath that fit perfectly in the floor mat holders of the Nissan. These should do a much better job than floor mats. Great quality all around and they are cheaper from Cabela's right now than ordering direct from the manufacturer. I'd like to get the rear liner too, but I'm holding off for a bit until I decide how I'm going to mount my sub, amp, etc.

Man thats a great price...Trying to decide myself if I want these or the weathertech ones...I think for a savings of ~$30, I might just have to go with the Huskys....a quick check via google shows streetsideauto.com has the fronts for about the same price ($61.27) with free ground shipping...Although I have never bought from these guys before so I can't say if they are any good or not. Whereas with Cabelas...they are solid in customer service...ahem, still looking....:comphead:
I have bought from Street side auto. I got great service. Now if I have to go to the web to order something they are the first place I check. Plus they had the best prices for things I needed. That included the Husky liners, which are really great for the price.:noworries:
bought mine used, front and back, the fit is awesome and great protection. been using them all winter here in the north, the only complaint is they hold too much water and my pant legs get wet sometimes
Streetsideauto is the deal!

I've purchased from them 2x and saved a bundle... my advice is, if you're not in a HUGE hurry, they change their deals on the banner on the homepage every couple of days so if the deal doesn't apply to you just wait a couple of days...
anyone got these installed in a crew cab front and second row? wondering if these liners overlap the doorsills like the weathertech

They do not overlap like the weathertech liners. I have the husky liners and am very happy with them. They are a great fit and provide good protection from spills, dirt, mud, and whatever else you can throw at them. And they are cheaper then the weathertech.
any chance you got some pics? and is it true the husky liners almost cover the entire dead pedal? i like the idea of that.. but kinda bummed they dont overlap the door sills.
jcabaz, I've had the huskys since october last year and I'm very satisfied with em. They're very durable and saved my carpets during the winter. I give them 4 out of 5 stars and recommend them to anybody. The only nit I'm picking is they don't exactly line up against the transmission tunnel on the driver's side. There's maybe a quarter inch gap in a short section that curves. Not a big deal. I'll take some picks this afternoon.

Hey thanks for the pics cpc0812. Man those look sweet! I gotta say those huskys have two pros over the weather techs.. Liners are higher up behind pedals and price $$$. One con though.. That gap between the door sill and liner. If it wasn't for that I would buy them.. But where I work I can't afford "red Hawaiian dirt" to get trapped in that gap. They stain like a b****

I hear ya jcabaz. Yeah there is a bit of a gap. I do wish they had a little more coverage. Sounds loike the weathertech liners might be what you're looking for.

The gap does look bad when looking at the pictures, but it's not something to worry too much about in actual use. You would really have to go out of your way to get any significant amount of dirt or mud in there. The gap is a result of the lip design of the husky that allows it to contain fluids. Once you close your door, the lip practically touches the door so anything that spills will go into the mat, rather than the carpet. Here's a pic that should clarify what I'm talking about. It is shot looking down the inside of the driver's door. I even sprinkled some dirt in there to show you that it works!

with the door open you see the exposed "gap"

in the back, the lip doesn't quite touch the door and more carpet is exposed, but still more coverage than the weathertechs

finally, the 1/4" gap that exists on the transmission tunnel side

awesome pics.. how much did you pay for the whole set and from where?
Installed mines today.. Overall I'm happy w/ the quality and fit, hopefully red dirt won't get trapped in that door sill gap. Paid like $139 from amazon cuz streetside doesnt ship to Hawaii. Plus I had to trim a little on the second row mat because of my sub box under the bench.

I ran Husky liners in everything since my 98 Jeep TJ, but switched to WeatherTechs on my 06 Frontier because Husky didn't have matching rear liners at the time. Husky Liners are designed to contain any liquid such as spilled drinks, rain, or melted snow within the floor mat. That is why they do not overlap the door sill like WeatherTechs. The WeatherTechs have a higher quality finish to them, where the Huskys are more utilitarian. Both do a great job at protecting your carpet.
