Just wanted to throw this out there since there are so many useful threads here with dead photobucket images after PB's decision to be greedy. I wish I would have discovered this before I closed my PB account and lost hundreds of forum pictures that I posted.

Simply install this browser add-on and THEY'RE BAAAAACK

What do you get if you cross an elephant and a rhino? Elephino.
Maybe? Prolly? D'oh.

PB screwed the DIY Forum Universe w/ their silly move.

Worked for me on Firefox. Caveat: it took several seconds after load on a page with three images for those to go from being the standard blocked by photobucket image to actually showing the picture.

I actually installed this extension before reading about it here and I've seen a bunch of "user has deleted photo" or some similar message. Reason enough to use a Chrome or Firefox browser though for the pics that are still valid.

Edit: I figured out how to tell, looks stuck now. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

Well this no longer works in all cases. Looks like Photobucket has done something else recently to combat this work around. Something like dropped the stored image quality so that what comes through is so burly it isn't view able.
