I'm looking into building a prerunner style Frontier. I want to start with a low mileage 08-09 4wd. Don't know much about these so let me know how this setup looks. I don't know what rear suspension setup would be best with the PRG titan conversion so any suggestions would be cool. Also, if there are any big brake kits out there let me know. I couldn't find any yet.

Performance:
Stillen Supercharger Kit
Hypertech Programmer
Stillen Intake
JBA Headers
Stillen Exhaust

Body:
Hannemann 5" Front Fenders
Hannemann 5" Rear Fenders
Hannemann Front Bumper

Suspension:
PRG Titan Conversion w/ 2.5 Coilovers
Rear Suspension ?

Wheels and Tires:
Not sure on this yet either but 35" tires

yea i'm with gil^^ i would just swap the spindles from a titan as well and get the brakes. if you get an automatic frontier you can use the brake master cylinder from a titan as well which will give you more stopping force for the bigger brakes. also, instead of just a hypertech programmer, i would recommend finding a place to get it dyno tuned after making serious mods like the supercharger. where are you located? i'd recommend uprev's tunning which could be done by a local vender of their software. that would be the best way to maximize the gain without melting down your engine...

also there is new glass and new kits coming out int he next 6 months.. Is this goign to be realy run or just a mall-runner?
It won't really be run. It's honestly just to look cool and bump performance. I would run it if I could. I'm on the east coast though and don't know if that's possible. But I'm also starting a business where I'll need to tow a trailer and I'm going to use this truck for that and as a marketing tool to catch attention. I'll put a cool paint job on it and my logo. What about the rear suspension though? I'm thinking PRG traction bars but what else?

just get an Add-a-leaf and some better shocks.. Call Greg at PRG and he can set you up with everything you need.. are you dead set on 4wd? you can save alot of money if you do the 2wd route..
Yea I would like 4wd for the east coast winters unless there's a performance advantage with 2wd?

you can jump driveway dips!
Dam straight and I'll look good doing it. I'll be out looking for pot holes too.

if your goin to do the full on 4x4 titan swap (front and rear diffs ) i would wait until we found out about gears for the titan front diff
with 35's , 3.36 gear ratio and towing , life would be miserable and put a pretty big strain on the truck

also what you are building is being called the "Short Course" look.
Exactly. I got the idea for this truck from this Ranger, but I like the Nissan trucks better.

Short Course Style Prerunners - Prerunner Trucks - Prerunner Maniac

I actually want to do a short course styled VW Touareg TDI but there is no aftermarket at all for those trucks. I think everything would need to be completely custom fabbed and obviously the price for that would be pretty crazy for what you get.

there is a cost advantage to 2wd over 4wd.
if you are goign to tow. You will hate running 35s and stock gears.. So you will have to regear.. in the next 90 days there will be gears out for the titans, but there is no plans for makign them for the Frontier.. So you will need to get a Titan front dif ($950) and have it regeard, This will make your titan swap a cake walk. liek i said before I would swap the rear axel at the same time and have it geard to mach , grab some junk yard titan lowers and axels, get shock and uppers form PRG, slap some finberglass.. A-A-leaf with adjustable shackle. keept he rear the sma higth is now, do 3 inch in the front, grab some KMC endero fake locks put some 35s on them and full glass. I woudl wait for the new fiberworks glass. and I woudl find a fab shop that can make you a tube front and rear bumper.

I knew you were looking at Woolworth's orange truck when you said what you wanted..

That sounds pretty awesome. To be honest I'm not that concerned about cost. I have no problem spending 20 grand to get it how I want it. But I'm also looking at other trucks/SUVs and what kind of parts are out there to do a short course style truck. I'll begin putting something together in the early spring and definitely will go with the Titan differential and rear end if I decide to go with a Frontier.

where on the east coast are you.

that glass is 3 inches to wide for a titan swap.. but I got guy working on a 4wd kit that will fill that glass.. and the PRG 4wd mid travel kit will fill that glass.
Well what about the Hannemann fenders? They seem to be less aggressive then the Fiberwerx stuff right?

And I must have missed the mid travel kit from PRG because I don't remember seeing that kit.
