Howdy from TN, too

I'm south of the Smyrna Nissan Plant.

I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier Ext Cab that I'd like to install some nice bucket seats into.

Also, do any of you guys from Middle Tennessee have a shop to recommend for a timing belt change?

Thanks,

welcome to clubfrontier
Welcome from Northeast TN. Buckets are easy. Any buckets from '98-04 frontiers and '00-04 xterras fit perfectly. There are already holes to bolt them in and everything, you just have to cut tiny holes in the carpet and throw them in.
Thanks PeeWee, Howdy Neighbor.
I found a lot of threads about it, but for some reason due to ignorance most likely, I cannot reply within the thread.

I wanted to ask penski61 if those were Xterra seats in his switch?
I didn't know what "2nd gen OR X seats" were.

Thanks
Yeah those are from 2nd generation('05-present) xterra seats. I think they are the same seats as 2nd gen frontiers, but i am not sure.
Welcome and enjoy.

Welcome!
Have you been to the plant for a tour?

Clint
Welcome, I work down in Smyrna :hi:
I never knew I could go, well... never thought of going either. Have to check into it. After a day of working in a plant never thought of visiting another.

Howdy zmanep!
Do you work at the Nissan Plant?

I'm going to the salvage yard today to get those bucket seats
Welcome to the club!

If you're willing to make the drive to Mt. Juliet, Mike's on Lebanon road is an awesome shop. They're not the cheapest (they'll even admit this themselves) but they do amazing work and stand behind it. In my opinion, the quality of their work is worth a little more money and, if something isn't right, all you have to do is tell them and they'll make it right without you having to go through and act of Congress to get it done.
Good to see some fellow Tennesseans on here, Also from east TN but am stationed in Virginia Beach, VA
Thanks HightecRednec,
Is Mike's just east of the Davidson county line? Years ago, I dealt with a shop that was good over there just past the shopping center.

Also, I check out some 2002 Xterra seats at the salvage yard. They didn't seem anymore comfortable than what came stock in my 2000 Frontier. I'll keep looking though.

Thanks
They're about a 10 minute drive from the Davidson county line. However, I believe you are talking about a different shop cause there are three right on the county line there on Lebanon road in Mt. Juliet.

Mikes Tires Oil & Lube Inc.
11697 Lebanon Road
Mt Juliet, TN 37122

At the very least, I'd give them a call and see what they say. My uncle lives in Smyrna, I'll talk to him and see if he has any suggestions for shops in the Smyrna/Murfreesboro area.
Howdy Navyguy, Thank you for your service.

I'd appreciate asking your Uncle, HightecRednec. I don't mind driving to Mt Juliet for a trustworthy Nissan mechanic, it is just everything I do is south of me. Thanks,
