Proud new owner of a...soon to be purchased Frontier. Been eye ballin' a few different options on a used truck and settled on 98-00 Frontier. I'll refrain from asking any Q's till I get the deal done. In the mean time I'll snoop around a bit and use the search function so I don't piss off all the grumpy son's a female dog's around here...

Got my eye on this one...whether or not I can find the time this week to check it out remains to be seen. It's a 2k XE V6 5 spd with 91k. It's 53 miles away...pita. Oh well. Once I set my sights it's pretty much a done deal. You WILL see pics of my new ride within the next couple of weeks :mrgreen:

Well it's a done deal....

Picked up a 2K Desert Runner with 88K on it. Body has one door ding type dent just above the rear drivers side rear fender well. Bed has been Tee Boned at the cab so it has a nice curve in it but nothing major, doesn't make contact with the cab. It's a ten year old truck and feels like it but not in a bad way. It ain't perfect but I'm confident in it's potential and I'm pretty stoked. It's similar to my Ford Ranger Edge I had a few years ago but the engine feels smoother and it has a little more gitty up. I LIKE IT

I'm an official Frontier owner now so show me some respect when I ask some questions! Like I said in my first post...when I zero in on something it's pretty much a done deal. My radar waivered a little in the past two weeks but I made the right choice in the end. Of course it could blow up tomorrow and I'd be **** out of luck but I'm thinking that ain't gonna happen (fingers crossed).

It barely fits in my garage so don't expect too many do it yourself questions especially regarding suspension. Once I decide on a lift kit I'll have the work done and pay the price. I'd literally have to do one side (if even possible) then reposition to get to the other side. My garage is that small...
