Fortuitous timing...I just had it in my head today for some reason that I REALLY REALLY want to update the navigation system on my 2019...figured that someone out there would have found a hack to do this for free... No?!? Nothing?!? I mean it is almost useless as it is (literally have used it once or twice in 5 years) and now it is psuedo-useless AND out of date. I refuse to pay $$ for such a poor system - will save up for a replacement with the $$ I guess.

Welcome to Club Frontier!!! Judging from other Club Frontier member's responses, it seems our forum members AREN'T too fond of the Nissan Connect / Navigation software. Just out of curiosity, is there a reason WHY you want to update the Nissan Connect software? Is it merely for navigation purposes?? Do you want to use it for off-road purposes??

Let us forum members know....we may be able to provide you with an alternative that you may be happy with.

Hope to hear from you soon!!

Navigation but as they all said it doesn't work that well I will just have to use my cell phone.
Thanks to all that answered my request.

I do not need it to direct me from where I am to another city but have used it about a dozen times to direct me to a business, not familiar with, in different cities and never had a problem. As with any of these systems (like on my GMs) construction areas can give it some problems, but otherwise works just as well.
Are there some roads that need updating due to just being opened in the past year or two...yes. And would like to seen an update; however, overall no better, no worse than GM and most likely similar to others.
As for emergency, hope it would work like GM's onstar. If I get in an accident it contacts me and if no contact, contacts the local LE.
Otherwise, I can start the vehicle when I am over a half mile away and shut it down (did it twice...just to see how the raptor lights looked like from a good distance), and if I open the app, it tells me my tire pressures if I should really give a darn.

Overall just as good as the one on my GMs past and present; other than the initial startup screen displays too damn long.
