I'll do some more digging and see if I can find the specifics on the wire terminals. I'd rather plug in to the harness with a correct plug instead of snipping wires if possible.

Also, to add to the conversation of locating the glass, I found used OEM heated ones on Ebay for cheap by waiting for scratched and dinged ones to come up. Since you only need the glass, being the wrong color or scratched up won't matter. I was able to get one mirror for $14 shipped and the other for $35 shipped. I believe Nissan wants $35 for one glass and I'd assume if you were ordering online, there would be shipping.

The one power wire is all you need. You split it from the passenger side and run a power wire to each mirror and then a ground wire from each mirror to it's respective door.

Have you verified that the power wire you found on the passenger side has 12v when the rear defrost is on and 0v when it's off? It's been awhile since I did this mod and I traded my Frontier for a Titan over a year ago, but I had to run a power wire from the relay in the box under the hood, then split to each mirror from the passenger kick panel.

Yes I located the wire from a plug on the passenger side. Was a red/gray wire that gets power once defroster is activated. The opposite side of plug slot was obviously empty as well since Nissan thinks a $60 mod will bankrupt them. Just figured there would be a wire on opposite side as well. I did passenger side like over a year ago. But I never got the chance to go the drivers. I was about to run a wire to that source but I wanted to try and find it first.

I hear ya Contra.. I have had the heated mirrors on the truck for over two years now but never got to wiring them in. You can make a timer circuit somehow and perhaps with an arduino board but I'm in Colorado where the "winters" are mild af compared to where I lived two years ago..

I wired them up last weekend. I located the wire on passenger side. Like I said I Couldn’t locate the wire on driver side. So I ran a wire from passenger side to driver side mirror. It’s awesome!!! Thinking heated pro4x seats next....
