im in the middle of doing my timing belt and i turn it clockwise a bunch of times after i had it all lined up to make sure everything came up good i had to rotate it like 6 rotations of the crank to get it to come back to all the same marks i used ....then it came up 1 tooth off set and didn't line up correctly
what to do.........plz help
i was wondering what the proper procedure for setting up TDC so i can start all over again aand see what happens........

This is just general information. You watch to see when the number 1 intake valve opens and closes. As soon as the intake valve closes is when the piston will be moving to TDC. The mark on the crank pulley should line up with the zero in the timing mark.
