How to change fog lights

I've searched this up and down and could not find an answer, just like I cannot figure out how to get the foglight housing off.

I can't seem to be able to remove the foglight connector, on both sides. Is there something I am missing here? I am not trying to mod anything I just need to change the bulb.

The owners manual does not explain it well either........

maybe I am missing something obvious but I've been trying for the last 15 minutes
