My dash squeaks. Bad. If I press on the leftmost side of the black insert above the glovebox, it stops.

A while ago I took the glovebox out and inserted double-sided rubber tape between every plastic surface that touches another on that side of the dash. It helped but not enough.

Sunday I'm opening things up again to install my new head unit. I'm thinking the entire dash just needs to be snugged up against the firewall.

Does anyone know if there are some bolts buried back there that can be tightened up?

Unfortunately I can't remember specifics, but hopefully these images can lend some assistance. Could be the air bag support bracket squeaking, but that's just a shot in the dark. The bolts that secure the panel to the firewall are located on the top of the dash just below the windshield. May be caps covering them. I don't think that's your issue though. Could be the evap and heater core boxes rubbing against each other.

Appreciate your help!

Pretty sure the noise is plastic squeaking. It's right there where the left frame around the glovebox is (where there's that U-shaped piece of tubing).

I'm just going to have to tighten every fastener I can find and continue adding the foam tape between pieces.
