Hi everyone!

Ok, I have a 2003 Frontier XE that I purchased new some years ago. I love this truck because it has run well and has not needed any major repairs on it.

I've done all the maintenance like clockwork following the guide they gave me at the dealer.

There is one thing I do hate about this truck!

Changing the oil! It is such a drag! Extremely poor engineering design because reaching the oil filter is the most difficult I have ever experienced on any vehicle and I have had many. Have you seen the 2009-2010 trucks? The oil filter is so easy to access! What a difference!

I was told there are oil filter relocation kits...

So, here is my question:

Has anyone here tried it, and if yes, how did it go?

I would appreciate any and all informed and accurate information.

beef added a cooler and relocation to his filter to my knowledge with no probs but this is not the one he used. i dont see any problems with using this kit

Thanks for the reply. Ok, I looked at the unit you posted and it looks pretty good.

Could you help me contact beef so I could ask him about the relocation kit he used?

yeah no prob, hes got a thread on here somewhere about it, he used a cooler kit from jegs. let me see if i can find the thread. and you can pm him that way

I checked his post and discovered beef installed a full oil cooler. I only am looking for a oil filter relocation kit.

I think I'll try posting in the modification's forum here and see if I can find someone that can help me.

I did find a relocation kit at JEBS.
