What up all! I know I have been MIA lately, but I have slowly been working on the truck and taking care of some personal business as well.

Anyway....got some new shoes on the truck and did some sheet metal work and thought I'd post up a few new pics.

Last outing went a little something like this (this included 2 busted ujoints, i busted brake line, 1 busted 35 spline warn, 2 broken tail lights, i broken leaf spring, lots of dents and aggrevating things like the windows not wanting to roll up or down due to sheet metal damage. There is actually a few other things I could mention...but can't recall at this time. Truck was tore up!)

And it came back looking like this

Here it is today.

All sheet metal has attempted to be straightened. (Car scissor jack worked great on the bedside to push that back out.)

There isn't anything I can do for the door. Just wire wheeled the rust off and cleared it. Did replace the side mirror though!

New inner shafts. New ujoints, TRE's, brake lines and 35 spline drive flanges for the front.

And 39.5 Iroks.

New Warn 95.ti in the basement ready for install with 5/16 " synthetic rope.

I've still got a lot of little things to do to get it ready to wheel, but its coming along and is good for a run to the local BoJangles.

thanks patrick. yea, the truck is looking rough these days, but mechanically it is sound. it just has a lot of battle scars and i've done my part to make sure it really gets "tested" out on the trails. i wouldn't have it any other way. it's been right at 2 years since the axle swap so it was time for some maintenance and upgrades. needless to say...it required them after that last run.

they only make them in new ranger body style. I say dove tail it.

if i tube it....i can use about any fender for the road and make them removable for the trail.

Baja Shop Motorsports makes them... If you get them Autofab Offroad Trucks makes the best panel mounts they. Alot of the prerunners/race team will prerun with out the body pannels on so they don;t have to worry about them ripping off so they use panel mounts to make them removable.

you think? i think it looks appropriate. should have done this a while back. would have liked 42s, but don't have gearing for it. it's gonna get some trimming soon!

dont get me wrong it looks good i just couldnt tell from the pics those were 39's

your gonna have to move that rear axle pretty soon so your not rubbing the tires on the sliders and cab haha

axle is already back. drfinitely gonna hit the cab...front and rear. gonna have to rework the corners a little.

Even with the dents, truck still looks awesome. Great rig man

glad to see you back but dang man!! you might have been better off just rollin the thing. full exo? maybe? you know. just to prevent the hassle of body work. nothin else. excep tit would be baddass lookin. thats all.
