Hey guys, I'm in the need of an engine stand in the near future. I know I can go buy one for around $50 but where's the fun in that?
When it comes to the design of one, in pretty sure I've got the base and all figured out. We've got all kinds of scrap(and some not?) metal laying around everywhere at work. So that shouldn't be a problem.
What I'm looking for advice on is making the actual mounting plate and pipe I guess you would call it that let's the motor rotisserie
What would y'all recommend? And what about the slidy bars that you actually bolt to the motor? Do they have to be a certain length?
I guess the only other thing I would be interested in finding out, what kind of casters should I use?
Thanks in advance guys, I think I posted this in the right section.
