AKA bastard leaf pack

Has anyone here ever put together a custom leaf pack from junkyard leafs?

For example, I come from a Jeep Cherokee background and a common mod there is to mix chevy S-10 leafs with the cherokee leaves to build a 6-leaf pack that provides 4in lift.

Any thoughts on this?

looks like they took all the pics off the web but there have been a few to do a hybrid pack using xterra leafs and it give 4in of lift

alright, people have done this, I guess I just wasn't searching for right the words.

I just went and took some measurments. My 2005 Fronty LE 2X4 measures as follows;
front eye to center pin....26in
center pin to rear eye.....29in
total length...................55in

Using that info in combination with the info below and what I have attached, I think there are several options for a juck yard pack to acheive various lift heights. Personally, I'm looking for about a 1 to 2in increase in height so the Ford Ranger springs look like a good canidate to add to my pack and lose the overload spring.

i believe someone else used a chevy leaf or two. as long as it is 2.5" wide i belive it will work! This is one my list of to-do's but just havent gotta time yet
