Hey guys, at some point Ill be towing with my 06 and Id like to get a hitch that will work with the factory bumper. Also if these trucks have a plug and play harness for the trailer Id like to find one of those as well, they dont have to come together. Let me know what ya got! Thanks.

Make sure you get the wiring from the dealer or an online dealer. If you splice any wires, you will have massive issues. The kit includes a few relays that are needed to make everything work correctly.

Please re-read the post you quoted.

There are RELAYs that need to be installed in the passenger kick panel. Without these the BCM will see too much draw and will fry or your wires themselves will fry or the wire/bulb area will fry and melt your tail light. All 3 situation have happened to different members over the last 5 yrs. Mainly from U-haul hack jobs but any splice causes it.

Then if you think the splice works, it doesn't. All seem to have the issue where not all the light work. Once again, a BCM issue which isn't cheap if you fry it.

Here take a look, see if you still want it. Could use a bit of steel brushing and paint but otherwise its pretty decent. Actually never used for towing, just for carrying a bike rack and receiver shackle.
