The bulbs are different.
Yours are a hi/low in one, the projectors are separate bulbs for highs and lows.

Hids with aftermarket projectors
I have a 8000k hid kit on my 05 fronty. I want to put some projector lenses o. But i dont know if they will work with my hids, any thoughts?

8000k isn't any hotter than 6000k. Whoever told you that is an idiot. 8000k puts less light on the road though, but you probably don't care about that.
If you have HID's in your factory housing, they will not fit in the projector housing. Different types of bulbs.
